We all know that whatever Ghislaine was charged with and was found guilty for, is nothing compared to the VIPs that she blackmailed by entrapping them with pedophilia.

Then why did this trial had to happen? Why did Q made a big deal about this trial ?

The answer is very simple. We all know many people were given an offer they couldn't refuse. Either co-operate or face your destiny. We know that John McCain and Bush Sr co-operated and hence went quietly with an official cover that kept their legacy intact.

Then there were people whose crimes could only be judged based on the stuff Ghislaine was holding over them. These people probably decided to take a chance and said "bring it on", assuming Ghislaine would never dob on them.

Ghislaine herself knew that she held a lot powerful people's fates in her hands. She was pretty sure that whatever charges they can prove against her, these powerful people would protect her one way or another. So she was confident in these Elite protecting themselves, by protecting her.

There is no other way to compel Ghislaine to dob on these people as long as she thinks she is protected. Hence her confidence in going to the trial.

What we are watching is the most amazing event witnessed in a long time. The most powerful Elites, whose fates are in the hands of Maxwell, were POWERLESS to stop the guilty verdict against her. They had stacked the entire system, from prosecution, to judge and no doubt the jury as well. YET, in the end, she was found guilty.

This is the White Hats "Calling the Bluff" in a very public, very elaborate manner.

We are at the cusp of the moment where the person with the most blackmail material against the most powerful Elite, who are seemingly running the whole show, and yet were impotent to stop one "lousy" court case. Now that Maxwell understands that there is nothing more these so called Elites are powerful to do for her. She has absolutely no reason to protect these Elites and she will cut any deal she can, and beyond that she would probably give away freebies just out of spite.

As she spills her guts, we will see more and more people taken down. This is what Q meant when he said:
