Yes, I have the same impression. She always struck me as a wannabe, a hangers on. And therefore I am not surprised that she would try to get along with Maxwell, given that she was in the middle of everything as a high society madam.

While you clearly understand the distinction, I will note for others that Ivanka and Ivana are two different people. Ivana (former wife) and Ivanka (beautiful daughter, former model, gorgeous in every capacity!!!) :)
