This might receive a lot of hate, but it is the way I feel.

The Romans practiced a heathen religion but they also loved Jesus. He was just very lovable. The Sanhedrin was the main group that loathed Jesus. Sanhedrin secretly worshiped Lucifer as they are those Jews that claim to be Jewish and are not from the Book Of Revelation.
Sanhedrin tried everything in the book. They installed spies in Jesus' camp to trick him into saying something illegal so they can issue an arrest. Jesus countered this by speaking in Parables. They applied all kinds of pressure while Jesus was traveling. Jesus knew if he went to Jerusalem one last time, they would kill him but figure his death would be worth and beneficial for humanity.
Sanhedrin told Judas he would have an honorary position among them if he helped. They lied and gave him 30 silver instead. When Judas realized what he had done for nothing but 30 silver, he couldn't bear the pain and killed himself.
Capheaus, the leader of the Sanhedrin, guarded the grave site just in case. If Jesus was to resurrect, the masses would realize he was real so when it happened Capheaus flipped out.
The deep state loath Jesus to this day because Jesus' message ended up altering a world full of paganism into the 4 main religions today which are Christianity, Muslim, Jew and Buddhism. These religions are a lot more humane than what existed before during the pagan era.
It's all very interesting. The Romans were more neutral though. They kicked Jesus' ass to appease the Sanhedrin (crown of thorns, whip) but the Sanhedrin wasn't satisfied.
Yeah I can believe that. And Jesus... Lovable??? Absolutely lol. How could you not love a man like that if you met Him!
If you were to take all the major religions, and only include where/what they all overlap on, then you would most likely have the full truth of it all.
True but not nearly the FULL truth. Maybe 3%. There is much more to learn.
Chapter/verse please.
It’s the whole Book Of Matthew. There are tons of parts talking about this. I recommend rereading it.
