It's called the Peter Principle - they were promoted beyond their ability to lead. It happens a lot in the military.
"The Peter Principle is a common occurrence among companies, whereby employees are promoted according to their current progress rather than for the skills and aptitude required for the roles they are being considered for."
The Peter Principle book presented a very useful idea. Still available on amazon...and I imagine other places as well.
They have good records, it 'may' be the woke double damned corrupt leadership fowling the waters. Mishandling a harassment complaint should never result in two seasoned Commanders being summarily removed with no adjudication.
Our military is run by immoral, ignorant and cowardly persons who whether intentionally or not are acting as Traitors in that they defy God and the Constitution. Millions of us Vets do consider that our Oaths never expire and it pisses us off to see that many in today's military do not ever intend to honor theirs.
Pray for Humanity.
