What the hell is paxlovid, and molnupiravir

Why not just use the taboo ivermectin, and hydroxy chloroquine
Plaxlovid is a combination experimental protease inhibiting antiviral nirmatrelvir and a HIV antiretroviral. It is under EUA - so like the clot shots, our knowledge of the investigative component nirmatrelvir is limited. It is for use in the treatment of Covid in high risk patients prior to hospitalization. But, as compared to Merck's Covid drug molnupiravir, which is a repurposed drug developed for influenza, Plaxlovid does seem have a better preliminary safety profile - but it is still being tested. Molnupiravir's mechanism of action may induce genetic mutations and reproductive toxicological studies have not yet been done. Both medications are expensive and dangerous.
Needless to say, people cannot be given the impression through messaging that these experimental drugs are alternative, however more expensive, than Ivermectin or HCQ. Ivermectin and HCQ both have several different mechanisms of action along with well established safety profiles that still make them drugs of choice for the early treatment of Covid as part of a multi-pronged approach that includes several supplements and possibly other pharmaceuticals such as steroids, antihistamines, and antibiotics. No thank you to the new drugs. The fact that these drug companies are being allowed to experiment on the public, bypassing all the normal checks and balances along with having no liability for damages, is absolutely frightening. What is even more alarming is that people, being so driven by fear of an illness that most will recover from, are willing to subject themselves as well as their children and line up to receive any number of experimental poisons - and be happy about it. Absolutely mind boggling.
