I'd prefer to share your knowledge with everyone here so they can benefit from it too because I'm sure they are just as curious as I am.

Do you have any opinion about why supernatural powers of precognition were rarer that Sasquatch and effectively non-existent in western culture before the horrific WW1 death toll? POW! Suddenly there were psychics behind every blade of grass who were willing to tell people what they want to hear in exchange for money.

BOOM! The same thing happened after WW2.
