Who's going to hold its mouth open so it doesn't bite your hand? If you try to push down its throat while it has a grip on your hand, won't it rip up your hand (and upwards)?
If you have a dog bite your hand grab it’s scruff and force your hand deeper into its mouth it will release however if you keep pressure on the dog as it releases you can go deeper in its throat feeding your hand to the dog. the dog will choke to the point where it will stop biting you and will never bite you again. I saw it done once on a Doberman that attacked my friend. I asked where did he learn that? He said he learned it as an MP. His hand was a little bloody but nothing bad.
You got to feed an attacking dog your hand. Force it down it’s throat. It’ll never bite you again

I recommend #5-8 at https://blackbeltmag.com/self-defense-from-dog-attack/be-a-hard-target. Basically you try to get the dogs head close and go for its eyes.
