Interesting postscript:
We all had the week off between Christmas and NYE. I went to Florida for the week. I'm the last one holding the line. The company is fully vaxxed top to bottom.
Come back today and I'm the only field worker here. I get a call that 2 fully vaxxed carpenters and one fully vaxxed hvac coworker have covid and are home.
A few are off being tested as well. All vaxxed! And they're offering some home tests in the office "if I'm interested."
"Nah, that's okay. I feel great. I'm not allowed in the office anyway."
BOOM!
HOLD. THE. FUCKING. LINE.
Do your coworkers or bosses grill you on why haven’t you gotten it?
I've been asked if I would consider it, and reconsider. And one time I was told "they'd hate to lose me" over this.
So I know they're waiting on the mandate to go through for smaller companies or for NJ to enforce one.
