Yep not going to listen to Constantine’s “follow the government and pay your taxes is like following the Lord”. 99% sure God never meant to have his words interpreted that way, instead sounding much more like the Pastor in the idea that when faced with Tyranny we must resist and revolt against such Governments.
Because Constantine and the Council of Nicaea were factually responsible in 325 AD for “editing” or wording/translating the information as they saw fit to not only spread the Gospel but enhance Constantine’s power, in putting the Bible together. The 2nd Council of Nicaea in 787 AD factually re-edited and also removed the apocrypha books creating the Bible we currently have today. These are just the facts no one can get around because it’s archeologically and historically fact. And all before centuries later the Dead Sea Scrolls being found to create biblical questions about how the Bible was translated from its possibly original format, including many grammatical/defined changes.
You should go to a Christian College and study Biblical theology. Pepperdine was the one who taught my father all about this. His notes are incredible. And the same thing was repeated during my Middle Eastern History. Plus just Google what I said it’s just the way it was done. Of course MLK could’ve had a Greek Orthodox Bible. Those haven’t been changed at all. But the typical King James Version is the Bible most people have and does not have the Apocrypha, and has been clearly edited. And if we want to really get technical, it’s been edited several other times besides what I stated. And no one else is “offended” by that except yourself. No one else is being “hurt” knowing that factually Constantine or the 2 Councils of Nicaea factually edited the Bible’s long before any of us, especially your “feelings” were alive. Facts don’t care about your feelings. It’s just historical fact. Go ahead and try to disprove Constantine and both Nicaea Council's didn’t factually edit each book of the Bible. But it’s not possible because it’s like saying Mohammed had nothing to do with the creation of the Koran, or the Hebrews aren’t the original Israelis, and writers of the Old Testament….before Constantine and the Councils of Nicaea edited the Old and New Testaments Period.
