Happy to help. Both were absolutely devout, as in, they loved theology and subscribed to some form of Christianity, believing and professing themselves to be Christians. Both are fascinating and greatly underappreciated Founders. The HBO miniseries John Adams is a good start if you're interested in them. Many of their writings are available in various free online databases, especially the Mass Historical Society.
