I’m looking for advice in California. We are not able to move at this time due to caring for elderly family members. Hubby will lose his job as a nurse in February if he doesn’t comply and get the booster. He is slowly waking up, but I don’t know if he’ll actually risk his job. He’s totally against getting our kids vaccinated, but I’m not so sure that he’ll hold that same stance for himself.
I’m terrified. I do not want him to take it.
I wish we could move, but it’s just not an option right now.
I’m looking for info on legal battles being fought in California, especially Northern CA.
Some have been granted religious exemptions in the past and I want to push for him to try that at minimum. Any tips on wording?
I’m still learning and new so please no judgment. I’m genuinely looking for advice to stand against this tyranny and save my husband from the death jab and losing our main source of income.
Thank you in advance!
At the end of the day, its pretty hard to see your kids through life if oneself is not around to partake in it willingly. To me its a simple answer, I will not comply because the heartache of the known consequences to my children;far outweigh the need to work for a business that shows complete disregard for the absolute wellbeing of their valued employees and their families. In other words, take this job and shove it!!
I’ll be filing for religious exemption tomorrow, too. I don’t plan on explaining my Christian views to my employer, so I’ll keep it simple and simply say that these vaccinations “shots” go against my religious beliefs. I’ll be praying for you guys, too.🙏
Might be worth checking out annestans comment below before you go that route.
Thanks! I’ll give it a watch.
thehealthyamerican.org Peggy Hall has videos to write an effective religious exemption. It worked for my husband and step daughter in Southern California. You need to watch the videos in order to word it correctly for your situation legally. Don’t do it without research.
I also work in healthcare. This worked for me.
I, _______, declare religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccination mandate. Under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, I attest to having sincerely held personal religious beliefs which will not permit me to abide by this mandate.
Additionally, I am not willing to describe these personal religious beliefs for the reasonable fear that if others have knowledge of them it may engender discrimination against me and/or my family.
I am aware that reasonable accommodations may have to be made regarding this declaration of religious exemption, and am willing to discuss accommodations that would be necessary and reasonable in order to come to an agreement.
Finally, I expect this letter to remain confidential, and its contents be disclosed on to those for whom there is an express need.
My husband/family are in the same position as yours. We are in N Cal also. Him and his co-workers hired an attorney to represent them and to issue a cease and desist. They/he has filed a religious exemption and are going through a 'process'. I have to get an update. His work keep stalling as so many people have COVID and they can't afford to lose anyone. ps Please feel free to message me and I can help you with your religious exemption.
From what I’ve read, any denial of a religious exemption is an automatic violation of Title VII of the civil rights act and a complaint can be filed with the EEOC online. I don’t know how far that will get you however seeing that just about every aspect of this country has been corrupted.🤷🏻♂️ Good luck.
