Emma Watson, who accused J.K.Rowling as transphobic, is now being accused of anti-semitism! Left eating Left is delicious to watch :)

The thing about her is that even though she has her 'feminist and lovely immigrants' issues she has also seen virtually no big/blockbuster work after Harry Potter and she doesn't live in Hollywood.
Have been some stuff going around about the reason for this being that she declined 'the deal' and that this is the reason why she haven't gotten even close to the roles her name and face recognition would normally warrant and that is the inevitable result for anyone that says yes to 'the deal'.
Are a few fairly spectacular examples of people being set to make it big only to decline into obscurity that suggest that the whole deal is very real and that they said no to it, one such is a virtual unknown that basically carried a show for 3 season as the lead. She probably casting couched herself into that role and did so with gusto given her completely unknown status before and landing the lead in a major series without any prior work that would justify it, and given what she was apparently willing to do to get the role must have made them think she was a shoe-in for taking the deal(and probably why it continued for 3 seasons), they expected her to say yes but apparently she didn't and has gotten virtually no work since.

So whenever I see someone that fits the profile of 'set to make it big but didn't' it's fairly good indication that while still quite human they have some measure of backbone/integrity/values and lines they WILL NOT CROSS and as such I tend to give them the benefit of doubt and like her or not Emma Watson does fit in this category....
I'm pretty sure she took the deal - she was one of Weinstein's girls for awhile. After he got #metoo'd, she seemed to slip into the background, just like Jennifer Lawrence.
There are levels to this, blackmail is also a factor and more so with women.
Also it would be very out of the blue and a shock if people were just cold-start approached with the question and that is the kind of uncontrolled situation that runs the risk of exposure.
The point at which they decide if they will approach someone about the deal varies and have a lot that comes before it that leads to it, there are qualifiers that lets them determine if someone will say yes or if their efforts are best spent on gathering blackmail material, this is something that they have perfected over many 100 years(the monarch protocols give good insight into how these people think), it is not a straight line A then B proposition, the system they use would be impressive if it wasn't so evil...

Bro she made more money then she will ever spend in her or her kid's lifetime before she was college aged lol. It cost her getting repeatedly raped as a minor, but she's already set to retire before developing her first facial wrinkles lol. She was Bell in Disney's attempt to resell their old IP to the new generation (is this not a role her name and face recognition would normally warrant?) She's not working because she doesn't have/want to and would prefer to be like the nameless trust fund kids who find activism to be their new favorite hobby. You make the deal to land those 'set for life' roles. You don't get it after becoming a worldwide sensation from those roles after the fact.
She's done a calendar with a suggestive photo on the cover. :)
Of course anyone can get a calendar printed.
