I agree with your assessment of how disappointment is generated, but I've understood that for nearly 30 years, haven't created any expectations, and yet I'm really tired of this mess. As such, I often remind myself that the Revolutionary War lasted 7 years, the CW 5 years, the Great Depression 10 years and WWII 6 years, and I'm sure all the people who lived through those experiences got tired of them, too.
I agree that it's frustrating. I get the frustration. I want it to hurry up and happen too. My point was only that no one has ever provided a timeline for us. No one. We make up the timelines and then blame orhers when our expectations aren't met. That's not healthy so I don't see the benefit in supporting it. Being popular is not my goal here
