I received this from a state employee today.
If this happens it might be the straw that breaks the camels back

Washington State could use some prayers right now! The board of health wants to rain down tyranny onto its citizens.

Ugh. I'm in central Washington.
We just made it thru about 2 weeks of day temps in the teens and -10° nights. We're expecting 5-7 inches of snow tonight. Which we desperately need because we get less precipitation than AZ annually.
Anyways, we're ready and will not allow anyone to touch us. My hubby was just sworn in as the new mayor of our town of 330 (as a write-in!) last Friday yay! Today he got a call from the county health department asking "if we have a city hall or someplace that they could drop off a quantity of home testing equipment?" He hung up on her.
There. Now we can get back to worrying about making it thru this Long, Dark Winter.
600 in my eastern Washington town...this ain't going over well.
Not at all!
King County here. If this goes through I am quitting my job and working in Kittitas or Yakima county instead.
Good plan!
Bravo! Stay strong!
Will do!
