He announced press conference to tell the truth about Jan 6. Dems got scared and released the news that DOJ had armed Fed agents at the “insurrection.” They’ve denied this all year, but now suddenly, voluntarily released this info? Timing is convenient, it seems like they did that to get ahead of the story, before Trump could. Then, right after that is released, Trump cancels his presser. I doubt he ever intended to have it, it seems like a rouse to scare the Dems, and it worked.
