The governor is a damned nut job. NM is my home state. My brother still lives there. It is restrictive but some areas are fighting back. The northern area is going to be more cucked than the south.

Eagles Nest and Cimarron are nice areas. I wouldn't let the political climate stop me from moving there if that was my desired destination. The political climate won't last forever.
