They knew Covid would mutate around the vaccines eventually. They will need to make them yearly like the flu vaccine. There is no lifetime immunity to a cold virus, vaccine or natural immunity.
You do carry some TCell information. Like how the Spanish didn’t get wiped out by smallpox but the Natives did. Spanish had some Tcell immunity but it took hundreds of years passing it down from mom to baby to build up. We are a long way from any kind of lifetime T cell protection. Protection from SARS lasted a few years in some. They think 6 months for average if you get Covid or the vaccine, you might last a year.
I work frontline so I get Covid about every 10-11 months. I’ve had it three times. But I have a low white count and do get sick frequently.
The problem is there will be so many variations of Covid viruses, like at first there were what, a couple variants? As time goes on think of a tree expanding upward. Each branch is a new variant. Either they give you a hundred vaccines to cover them all or we have something like the military vaccine that covers them.
Although they’ve tried this before, and it hasn’t worked. I’m seriously hoping with that military vaccine.
Eventually those warp speed vaccines will be useless and it looks like that time is right now. Y’all should be happy, you’ll be right. They know it too.
