Oh yea, those years are long gone, but gosh were they rough.

I've worked with younger people to get them to reconcile with their parents by telling them just how awful the other side can be. I got plenty of war stories. It woke me up to Christ's wisdom.

Sucks I have to be the example, but it sure feels good to help people see their situations differently. It's kind of has the Miracle on 34th Street/Ebeneezer Scrooge effect.
