What is even more disgusting Ted's calling riots at the Capitol as acts of terror, was his calling the anniversary of January 6 a "solemn day".

This shows how out of touch he is with his conservative constituents. There's not a single conservative in USA that gives a damn that those weenies were scared that day (although we know they were not.) Conservatives remember that day as the day that millions of Americans showed up to have our voices heard, and were sent away via establishment dirty tricks.

He has never shown his true colors better before.

My question is why did Ted so miscalculate the political backlash to this? He is a very politically calculated individual. What was he hoping to accomplish by dragging patriotic Americans through the mud?
