Don't care if I should use something else. That's not my point. My inbox floods daily with so many emails. One specifically a Trump news letter and a lot of other things I don't typically open. I use my email to talk to specific people. Anyways today at the top of my inbox it specifically asked if I wanted to continue to receive the Trump news letters and had the option to remove receiving it or continue to receive. That's all I have to say.

Gmail does that, I've had that a few times from emails that I subscribed to but I never read it isn't just because it's Trump.
Probably just a coincidence. Of all the emails I never open though it makes you go hmm the first time I've seen this it was that.
Google inviting you to unsubscribe to Trump Newsletter?
That indeed is breaking news, yet, not unexpected. It means they monitor your email. It means they know it' s content and have an opinion on that content.
Which means: Google reads your email.
What is super interesting is my phone was acting weird yesterday. And then I went to show someone something I found interesting and was able to send it through Facebook messenger and a quicker find than accessing it through my phone. That's when I discovered several people I talk I have missing messages. Like months at a time of missing stuff.
That's been known for a long time. Really, the only way to avoid that option is to have a homebrew email server.
So do you think they are purposely flagging it? Sounds like it.
I don't know what the heck you other people are doing, I get maybe 12+ emails at the most a day. ~ I think I have had Gmail since maybe a year after it all started.
