People I know are selling online privately to people of their stature. Like on farm sites. Librals hate anything that associates with hard labor.
Well, the Fair Housing Laws say you cannot discriminate.
And,
Zillow and Private investors are coming in and offering above asking prices (way above) to outbid any regular people in my area. Who is going to turn that down?
Also, any normal person can come in and buy your house and immediately remarket it to the Zillow investor cabal and reap the profit you would have made if you had sold directly.
It's a dilemma.
You can privately sell your house to whoever you want to. That’s the beauty of living in a free country.
To be clear, fair housing laws say nothing about discrimination on the basis of political affiliation.

I just sold a piece of property through a private group I belong to on Fakebook. No realtors , just a title company, and got above asking. So there are ways to get things done, just a bit more work.
