I have a disease called leaky gut and I have to stick to strict diet otherwise ill experience inflammation all over my skin. I have not been doing this. I've been eating pleasurable, indulgent foods and it's hard to stop.
However, I want to change and I want to do it for you guys. As silly as this sounds, I feel like this movement merits me to make sacrifices. People fighting for our nation are making sacrifices, so I should be able to make sacrifices too.
This is gonna be hard, but I'm going to stop eating the pleasurable foods I shouldn't eat for the rest of this month. Wish me luck.
Eat organic, thats the best advice.
Organic food costs a little more but your health is worth it.
Anything non- organic has been sprayed with Round Up.
Round Up will kill anything, plant or animal, causes lymphoma as well.
The worst shit you can eat is non organic strawberries and corn.
Round Up get stuck in all the little crevices of strawberries, can't be washed off.
GMO corn has something called Bacillus thuringiensis bacteria.
It causes death in the corn root worm by melting the worm intestinal tract.
This will also cause leaky gut syndrome in humans.
This is why we are seeing a rapid increase of gastrointestinal diseases.
Leaky gut syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, colitis.
Leaky gut syndrome will cause early coronary artery disease.
The pores in your intestines should absorb nutrients from your food selectively.
Leaky gut causes absorption of food particles that are not fully broken down.
Your body does not recognize them and a inflammatory process occurs.
Your body releases macrophages to eliminate these unknown invaders.
The increased level of macrophages chews away at arterial inner lining.
This causes frayed edges of your endothelial cells.
The bodies response to fix the frayed edges is to lay down plaque.
Eat organic.
Find your local farmers market. Talk to the person selling the wares because they may or may not have even grown them. Ask about the scale of the farm, the varieties, how they tend the soil, and what they spray. You will easily tell if they are honestly growing it by the look on their face.
Very astute observation. The closer to the coast you'll find lots of people who pick up "from the docks". Who knows where that comes from. Even in south east PA that happens, even with Amish in the area. Market Gardening and No-Till are the new buzz words for small scale, low impact, natural farming methods. If you can search growers identifying by this you're in the right place. Happy Growing fren, almost time to start sowing seeds here.
There are several organizations that go to the site and validate/certify that the farmers are using organic processes to grow their crops. If anything is found that may violate the organic seal being placed on the food products, they will remove the right to label that product organic. The farmer can no longer ask for a higher price when he sends his product to the market. There is the possibility the people validating the organic nature of our food products could be corrupt and taking money to validate but I doubt it. I started feeling better when I went organic. Its hard to find options that are organic at times, I do my best.
If you're gonna do one, THAT is how you do a wall of text, people
Double space after each sentence so the eye and brain can take a tiny 'breath'
Makes it way easier to go back through and find things if necessary
upvoted for that and the useful, well-stated biological data
Agreed, I can't read some of these wall of texts that get posted here occasionally.
Always avoid GMO and glyphosate (and other pesticides).
But many organic products are not that. Especially when from specific locations in US or the world. In many places it's largely - and we know this form testing - just advertising.
You gotta tread carefully in a modern world. Not much is what it seems.
