I think it's more of we're under proper British Common Law, able to be thrown into jail on the whim of a black-robed tyrant.
What is "contempt of court?" What legal authority does a black-robed tyrant have to put you in jail for "contempt of court?"
I think our "judges" should start wearing those again, seeing how they care more about British Common Law than American Constitutional Law.

I firmly believe that our "judges" are tyrants wearing black robes, who are lesser nobility "holding court," like the nobles did in old Britain.
