Hot off the presses, a little good news about anosmia, loss of smell. https://archive.is/dqhGD
tldr: While colds, flu, sinusitis can all cause loss of smell due to one mechanism, obstruction and swelling, Covid 19 has another mechanism. It attacks the substrate supporting the olfactory nerves. This can even lead to loss of the peripheral olfactory nerves. The somewhat good news is that they regenerate. The not so good news is that it takes a long, long time. And though it doesn't say so here, possibly in some cases the substrate destruction can't be overcome.
Last night I had a hankering to listen to rap music, and it was then I knew that I had lost my sense of taste.
Make sure it's one of our awakened rappers like Zuby or Tom MacDonald.
Ha ha. A good clinical marker!
Loss of taste and smell has ALWAYS been a symptom of the common flu. Here’s an article from 1988.

Yep- this is very different. I caught the bioweapon and had parosmia before getting my smell/taste back fully. Everything tasted like chemicals and/or blood. It was really disgusting and very scary actually as I felt like it wouldn't get better.
Agree… but it took me 6 months to get my taste and smell back from the vid. Only taste I had was my wife’s homemade ginger snaps!! Life wasn’t bad!! 😁😁😁
Just a thought. Various posts here have advocated spraying a very dilute solution of either hydrogen peroxide or iodine up the nose to kill the virus there. This will probably prevent the damage if sprayed, say, twice a day at the first sign of soreness.
(Not much help if you already have the problem.)
Mine is on the mend, but it is taking a long time. It is much less unpleasant to change the cat litter box though.
Costco, Scoop Away, 42lbs, I've tried all the rest including the homemade concoctions, nothing else can even touch this. Not expensive at all. I know exactly what you mean, the major brand names, gagging and eyes watering, lol, no more of that.
Dr. Elsey’s Cat Litter is the best I’ve used. Clumps well and odor isn’t an issue.
Interesting. What is also very interesting is that Graphene Oxide (GO) toxicity does the same thing with loss of smell. Just a minute amount of GO inhaled through the sinuses will cause a loss of smell. I theorized that "COVID' was really a bio-chemical attack spread predominantly by atmospheric means.
Then, Clif High mentioned in one of his podcasts that samples of freshly fallen snow in western Washington state were analyzed and found to contain Graphene Oxide. I know in my area, the chem spraying is almost exclusively west of the city, which would mean the prevailing winds would carry the chem trails over the city.
My wife lost her smell for 10 months. We got our hands on some dewormer. She takes 1ml per week. Within 4 weeks, her smell and taste were back. Anecdotal, I know. But we’re 1 for 1 at my house b
Mine hasn’t been the same since December 2020.
Bummer. Nerves regrow at a glacial speed. It took me 20 years to get feeling back from a bad cut on the chin, but smell is more important.
One thing that was recommended back in the summer was to take an orange and put it over heat/flame and burn the peel. When the outside is all burnt let it cool, peel and then eat the orange as normal.
Haven’t had to do it myself but if it helps it can’t hurt to try it. May have to do it more than 1 time. GL nothing but the best for everyone.
My mom and sister had lost theirs years ago. It started to come back when they began the Z stack protocols, but it has been very slow.
My taste and smell came back quickly. Maybe because of the monoclonal antibodies I received?? But, it was strange that certain things still didn't have taste after it I recovered. It look weeks to taste soda. I don't drink soda often but had it a few weeks later with dinner and could not taste it. I still can't really taste bread. Sugar has desensitized. I've theorized this is a good thing .... I certainly don't need those things. But, I'm glad it regenerates. When others lost their sense of taste and smell I didn't think it was a big deal. It really is strange to eat and taste nothing or to have a great candle burning and not be able to smell it. I'm also concerned that I still have low-grade immflamuation if my body -- if my taste and smell aren't 100% back I am sure other things are going on inside of me that I am unaware of.
The distortion of smells also happened. When I came into our house I'd always ask my husband if it smelled. It smelled like vinegar. My toothpaste tasted like chemicals.
My nose was, and is, clear.
Finally back to 100% after 10 days. Day 2 was the worst and the other days werent bad. Lost my sense of taste after 1 week and 3 days later its back to normal. Seasonal flu and I didnt need to get tested for anything. Took plenty of vitamins (Zelenko Prototcol) and rested and stayed well hydrated. YOU CAN DO IT!
Doesn’t have anything to do with shoving ethylene oxide soaked fiberglass up into your brain numerous times. Does it??
Who knows. This is the first good article I've seen on the subject, but I expect more. If it was those awful swabs, there should be a difference over time as there are other tests now.
