A lot of these former Soviet States really went berserk from 1985 forward. Late 80s was a huge uprising period. It’s part of what wore down the Soviets atop Afghanistan.

Since many of them have had pretty constant revolution scenarios because they understand that every time international NGO funds came in it was bad - so they rinsed.

I would love for this to be confirmed as the case in Kazakhstan - especially with all of their space infrastructure. How rad would it be if they were aided by Space Force lol
