“Mayor” suggests Mayer an old name of a corrupt ancient bloodline. “Soto” is https://www.houseofnames.com/Soto-family-crest

Basically her last name is a mash up of old school corrupt bloodlines are you surprised when she acts in their best interest?

It is a Sephardic jewish surname, mostly in Spain and Latin American countries.

Soto is a popular Sephardic surname: https://www.sephardicgen.com/nameorig.htm
