He can still play, as long as the federal Minister for Immigration and Migrant Services, Alex Hawke does not do what he threatened to do, and that is to personally intervene.

At which point Judge Anthony Kelly cracked it and, according to Voice for Victoria, "reminded them that if the Minister exercised that power it would actually result in a ban from Australia for THREE YEARS. Now that would be a mess." He made it sternly clear to Christopher Tran, who represented the Minister for Home Affairs and the commonwealth, that if anything like that was to come out of the blue, the court was to be notified.
