If the Pence letter had not been issued MAGA supporters would have entered the day and Washington D.C. confident the fraud would be revealed. They would have still believed they would receive the fair hearing Pence promised while campaigning for the Republican Senators in Georgia a mere few days before. They would have been making their way home as the debates over the contested states were happening.

Interesting spin in an attempt to save Cruz. He’s done. If he meant something different, he should have phrased it differently.
Some will be more demanding of perfection in all things than others. Patriots understood he was talking about the true insurrectionists.

No. Cruz would have went on FOX News and said he meant the Democrats and Antifa pretenders when he clarified his message if that was the case.
In other words, Cruz either meant what he said and backpedaled when the message backfired or he's still Lyin' Ted.
I thought the same thing when I saw the fake news headlines about Cruz.
I've entertained this possibility about Cruz, but after all the double crosses, I don't trust my own mother any more.
