This must be a regional or state by state phenomenon. Is not happening in my area.
Now during the initial outset of the plandemic, there was plenty of panic buying of course. But that shit stopped a long while ago.
The only ongoing shortages Ive noticed are things that are unrelated to the plandemic: GPUs, video game consoles, plastic toploaders, etc. Basically, stuff people are scalping and flipping related to gaming and hobby/collecting stuff.
I've had two full cases of BCW toploaders paid for on backorder since last February. Slated to ship out in late March. 13 month wait for friggin plastic card sleeves! Second hand market, the price of toploaders has gone from $3.99 retail (25 pk) to ~$15 appx avg per pack (plus tax & s/h) on eBay.
I and Ashlanddog have also noted that this seems to be a regional problem, as neither of us has seen significant issues in our areas. I'm in SW rural Missouri and he's in NE Ohio.
