Wait, Guantanamo wasn't older than me?

I feel like as far back as I can remember, Guantanamo has been a thing. Even in my early life in the 90s.

The detention center was built on the American Naval base in Guantanamo. It has been leased to U.S since like 1905. Fidel would never cash the checks from the lease.
