As a free human being with the right to decide for myself what goes in my body, I don't support the idea of begging a politician for permission to go beg a doctor or a priest to write me an excuse. I don't need any of their permission to refuse treatment. And we shouldn't get to the point mentally where we think that's ever acceptable.
Medical exemptions: only absolute contraindications would justify this and chances are you won't have one.
Religious exemptions: mean you have to belong to the right religion and hope their teachings actually say something about the treatment in question, then find a priest to vouch for you.
That's not freedom. That's being forced to jump through tiny, narrow hoops in hopes the government will give you your rights back.
