People seem to not know how our government works. Congressional hearings are mostly for show for the people. Congressmen don't have the powers of arrest. Even though lying to Congress (perjury under oath) is a crime Congress still can't enforce the law. All they can do is request the DOJ investigate. After that it's in the hands of the Attorney General. If he shit cans the request nothing will happen.
