I'm guessing this might be connected to the chemical Limonene.

There has been research in the past year into the effects of Limonene vs. Covid.

Can limonene be a possible candidate for evaluation as an agent or adjuvant against infection, immunity, and inflammation in COVID-19?

And Limonene happens to be a terpene in many cannabis strains.
