Nothing that I have personally come across makes me believe that the spikies can be transmitted by sexual intercourse. This does not mean they wont be, but my guess is that even if they do transmit, the spike loads would be negligible compared to breathing, shedding on skin etc.

Remember, the toxicity of the spikes is directly proportional to its load.
