I’m pleasantly surprised. Youngkin’s Carlyle connections are troubling, but maybe it took someone like him to win the election. Carlyle has been involved in CIA long wars and war profiteering and Youngkin was at the helm the last 25 years.
All that aside, the proof is in the pudding and today’s EOs put the meat on the table. Youngkin is gonna have to go to war w NOVA but I think he has solid support in Loudoun, PWC and Fairfax. Alex/Arl/FFX City/FC aren’t gonna go along w the plans. Esp Arl schools.
I’ve moved from VA recently. My last vote there was for Youngkin and I’m glad it’s looking like it counted for something.
You know what, I've worked for some real jerks in my life. I would hate it if anyone assumed I was the same as them.
