You should have signed up to be a delegate to the nominating convention. It was the easiest convention I've ever seen. It took us no time to drive to the site in our county, walk into the building, cast our ballots and then leave. We met Winsome Sears' husband and he was very nice. I'm looking forward to helping to nominate her for governor in four years.
I like Chase but she ran a poor campaign. I wish she had done better but you know, I'll bet she learned a lot about a statewide run. That will serve her well in the future.
Anyway, since you aren't really a doomer, I won't try to rub your nose in anything. :>)
Good analogy! I have never missed a vote in my life except the first year I was old enough to vote they cancelled city elections in the city where I lived so I missed that election.
I used to get corralled by people at parties and so on who would rant about politics on and on. When I'd ask who they voted for, they would invariable rant that they had never voted, that it was a waste of time, all politicians are crooked and so on. I would tell them they had no right to complain.
