It's like that skit where they find the bumbling idiot to be the fuhrer so they can surrender to the allies. They needed someone to take the fall. I don't think Trump wants to be the one in the palace when the kingdom's dirty laundry get hung out to dry for all to see, plus him letting Biden steal the election wakes us up to the fact that the war is real and no election is safe.
