I am going to be discharged on the 22nd, so a week. I wonder if this will change anything.

Thank you and thank you for your service. While I'm a vet, I havent seen combat, so I feel like I actually haven't really served. I'm saddened that I'm going to get the boot for something that I signed up for to serve my country and its ideals.
Well if all this shakes out in favor of servicemembers, you may be able to sue for wrongful discharge. Definitely keep an eye on the situation. At the very least you may be able to sue for lost wages through the duration of your current contract, plus potential damages. Keep track of what it costs you to make the unplanned transition. Also keep track of any benefits that are denied, if any, as a result.
God bless you. What is truly frightening is the pilots who got the shots. Imagine an F16 single seater over your neighborhood when the shot is triggered by air compression.
