This is supposed to be my last week with the kids. I will still get them maybe 2 days a week so Tiffany can do errands for my son and his boss. It snowed/iced again last night so she will be a bit late.
George is moving a bit. HE IS THE WORST PATIENT EVER. I have done everything to help him. I can't even get him to take the vitamins I bought the other day. He barely eats, maybe a bite or two and he's done. Sometimes this is only one meal a day as he swears his stomach hurts. He is Bloated. He has lost weight in his face, arms and legs but his stomach is really out there. I keep threatening him with the hospital. I told him last night that I believe his Covid is over and that he possibly has an infection or something going on with his stomach.
His daughter Victoria lost her mother in September 2021, her grandfather is in the hospital ICU with Covid and now George won't do anything to heal himself. I asked him how does he think she is going to feel if something happens to him? He is all she has left. I am at my wits end about it so I pray and leave it at God's feet.
And how is your day going? Hope all is well with you, Anne and your little cats. I hope you enjoyed your extra time you gained with that overtime week.
Mary, get a doctor to come and take some blood samples so they’re analysed. Maybe here’s just tired but this bloated belly doesn’t sound good.
Today is the 30th day in a row I spend here in 🇫🇷. I shall be back in 🇨🇭Tonight. Good as our heating is not optimal and we experimented 63 degrees inside and 22 outside. I feel cold. By chance our car has heating seats which Both me and the smallest cat will appreciate. The other one is ok anyway.
We do NOT have doctors who make house calls. I wish we did. I asked him last night if he wanted to turn 'septic.' I feel as if he dies I will be blamed for not taking him to the hospital. I have done everything to get him motivated. Half the time he doesn't even sound like he's aware of his surroundings. I am thinking about calling Brother Eddie, Brother Butch and Brother Roger from church. I have to do something. I believe they could possibly get him to go.
I pray that you get the warmth you need. I know your cat will cozy up on that warm car seat. Our truck has heated front seats too. However it is in the shop getting a new transmission. The transmission hasn't made it here to Kentucky yet as it is being brought from Michigan. I don't think George even cares about that anymore. I suppose when the man calls I will have to meet him and take him to the garage where our truck is waiting in line for it.
I have had to pick up so much slack while he's been sick; or actually bed-ridden that I feel as if I need some help. While I was sick, dirty dishes were piled in the sink for 4 days. I had to force; and I mean literally force myself to get up and clean the kitchen and load the dishwasher. I had to take breaks in between my tiredness. Then 2 days later I had to force myself to take down the Christmas tree and clean the living room. I had no energy whatsoever. BUT I FORCED MYSELF because I knew that I would have no one to help me and it had to be done. Thank God I had most of the holidays Kid Free or it would have killed me and then they would have possibly been sick.
Anyway, I don't mean to gripe and complain, but HE NEEDS TO TRY AND MOVE AROUND. I know how tired he feels. If I could get him moving, he might feel better, realize he needs to go to the hospital, and then do something about it. He refuses to go to our local hospital and the only one he will go to is about 80 miles away is the Veteran's Hospital. However he is using the Vaccine as an excuse not to go to any. So I suppose I will call my church and see if I can get some help that way. Sorry this is long. Thank you for lending me your ear. God bless.
I am honoured that youconfiding to me in such details. It’s a pity no doctor makes house calls. Do you have to call an ambulance or something? 911? Not joking, I donknow how many emergency services are onnected through this number.
I will call my pastor and assistant pastors. They WILL make a house call and praying they can talk some sense into him. Once they look at him, they'll know he doesnt' look or act like himself.
911 is Emergency Services: Police, Ambulance and Fire Dept.
I wish 911 had a "Stubborn old man Dept." Haha. God bless you and I want to thank you for all your prayers. Besides, your honour comes from being my brother. Amen
