When you worship big government, and believe you are the government in the end you are just worshiping yourself. Its not even atheism. Its just narcissism gone mad.
We need to start making the distinction between sin and evil. They are not always the same in that an act of sin is not always an act of evil and the difference is VERY important when you examine closely the fact that Jesus died for our SINS and not evil.
There is never a justification for sin, but there is forgiveness... forgiveness for evil? Well... likely case by case.
