To this day, the question of Michael Collins against Eamon DeValera is a touchy one. Irish pubs usually are on one side of the question or the other.
To some degree I could allow for DeValera's passion. But when he sent condolences to Germany for the death of their leader (Hitler) I grew disgusted.
De Valera’s background… who was his family? We’re always told he’s half US & that’s it, but it’s sketchy.
