Because the search engine is now almost complete shit & useless. Should’ve guessed it was only a matter of time seeing as how they’ve always piggybacked off Google’s backbone.

It’s google2.0 or Bing results. No one can compete with their search engine algorithms. DDG is a GUI front to some other backend search engine API. Selling out to the big fish. Can’t say I don’t blame them, striking it rich.
