I try to archive GAW at least once a day, but that doesn't always happen.
AND, we could actually use archiving much more often than once every 24 hours.
we could just about archive the hot page every hour...
how to archive (any website or URL), (use 2 tabs)
tab 1: go to the webpage you want to archive, click in the address bar, select all, copy.
tab 2: go to the webpage that does the archiving, click in the field, paste, save.
a pop-up box will appear, saying that the page was last archived X amount of time ago, do you want to archive again?
click yes.
NOW, I'm not exactly sure how archive works, but it almost seems like it uses YOUR BROWSER to do the work.
the reason i say this is because, there have been numerous times when i have started to archive (a page) and then i close the tab, or even just go to another tab, and forget to come back, and then the archive never caches.
its almost like you have to wait for the archive to complete, and re-load on your browser, before you can be confident that it took.
