Biden, on a good day, would struggle with the procedures for the football. Russia knows that, China knows that, basically anyone paying attention knows that. So how can his Administration ever hope to be effective at saber rattling?

And what about NATO? Is Europe prepared to live with no natural gas for the balance of the winter? Any hostilities or open aggression against Russia leaves a large swath of Europe without natural gas to heat their homes. If this is brinksmanship between the U.S. and Russia, someone within the EU would be offering to play peacemaker.

Or is this theater, all to justify caving to Russia’s demands to stop NATO expansion? It’s easy to be sympathetic to people in far off places threatened by the favorite boogeyman of the DS. . .Russia. But it that sympathy will be gone if it might result in a direct conflict between two nuclear powers. Might also be a wake up call to peace loving normies that it’s time to abandon the Dems.
