In order for true progress to be made, we have to (metaphorically) burn the entire medical industry to the ground, pick up the ashes, and scatter them into the wind, leaving NOTHING behind.

Allowing any remnants of the old system to remain will just bring us back to what we currently have, in record time. People hate change, and medical pawns will do anything to keep things the way they are, simply because they don't have to relearn their jobs and do things differently.

I say this because literally every industry has a foundation of lazy people who refuse to do things differently.
