No. This prophecy was aimed at the Israelites back then, and it was fulfilled when they were conquered and exiled by the Assyrians.
However, Revelation 6:5-6 talks about the black horse/rider, which refers to a global famine. He is the third of the four horsemen that will ride. I do not think we are there yet though. The first horse (white) has not ridden yet.
Strange, looking back at my bible, that is what it says; but, I swear I have heard other interpretations in which the first horse brings with it the pestilence, such as on Wikipedia
In John's revelation, the first horseman rides on a white horse, carries a bow, and is given a crown - he rides forward as a figure of Conquest,[1][2] perhaps invoking Pestilence, Christ, or the Antichrist.
Ha! Since when is Wikipedia an authoritative commentary on Bible passages??
NOWHERE does it say that the white rider brings pestilence. He is clearly a conqueror who will establish a false and temporary peace. However, the fourth rider (Death) will "kill by sword, famine and plague..." Some translations substitute "pestilence" for the word "plague."
What the Bible describes is a progression. Start with a false peace (white rider), then war (red rider), then famine (black rider), and then finally death (black rider).
Why are we still shipping food to China today?
Probably for the same reasons we're still mining vast amounts of coal... and shipping that to China too.
All their land is polluted. Chinese don't want to eat domestic food anymore.

You don't think the White Horse that brings with it pestilence has ridden? Is Covid not pestilence?
The white horse does not bring pestilence; it is a conqueror. The fourth rider (pale horse = Death) will bring pestilence.

I'll go with what my bible says, but it is strange that there are other interpretations such as this.

How come you never hear about the US food reserves?
The meat shall inherit the earth.
The answer is we do not stockpile grain, the government holds commodity contracts only for food stocks.
Thanks for the comic relief, but it was a serious question.
