An armed population is necessary for the security of a Free State. If you do not live amongst an armed population, then sooner or later you will no longer be living in a Free State. It will turn into Australia at the drop of a hat.

You have a DUTY to carry a firearm. Not only for your own self-defense and the defense of your property, but also for the defense of your loved ones and to maintain your society's freedom. The government must fear the people.

For those who believe that the cops have a duty to protect your life, you should consider 3 things:

1. When seconds count, police are only minutes away.

2. The courts have already ruled that cops do NOT have any duty to protect your life.

3. If you think that another human being owes his life in lieu of yours simply because he is paid a salary and wears a uniform, you have a moral and ethical problem in your thinking.

Consider also:

-- If you do not have a right to carry a firearm, it could be persuasively argued that you do not actually have a right to self-defense.

-- In parts of Europe you explicitly have no right to self-defense. This is because if you did have an explicit right to self-defense, then it could be argued in court that you therefore have a right to bear arms. (That is what the governments there are trying to prevent).

-- If you do not have a right to defend your life, then it could be argued that you do not have a right to life at all. But then again, they already must have realized that in Europe where the government can force you to take dangerous experimental drugs and take away your freedoms and ability to earn a living.

If EVERYONE just started carrying a firearm at all times, the problem would be fixed in every place where this occurs. The solution starts with your THINKING and moves into your ACTIONS. All that's needed is for a sizeable percentage of the population to do this.
