This story is much more significant that it first appears.

It isn't a general story about Patriotic Populists.

What they are doing is saying that most Republicans are ok people, but there is one group that is really bad people.

Instead, it would be more productive for researchers, social media platforms, politicians and members of the media to focus their efforts on low-conscientiousness conservatives (LCCs for short) in particular. Yet, our findings also showed that fact-checking was not an effective way to prevent these conservatives from sharing false news stories, meaning other interventions are needed.

So your ears should perk up when leftists talking about isolating a small group of people.

Because they intend to do what they always do. As Dan Bongino says:

We think liberals are people with bad ideas.

Liberals think we are bad people with ideas.

When they talk about isolating us and then 'other interventions are needed', you can imagine what 'other interventions' means.

1. cutting us off from travel
2. cutting us off from shopping at stores or going to restaurants
3. having our ISPs drop our internet and cell providers cancelling our contracts.
4. Having banks close our accounts
5. throwing us into concentration camps.

Make no mistake, this is what leftists do every single time. They have no interest in arguing policy with you. They just want you silenced and eliminated.
