That can all evolve and get dialed in over time. I'm pretty sure people are going to get sucked into that.
First thing I said to my daughter when I saw the metaverse video was "AHA! That is how they can get the world to worship the image of the beast."
I've always wondered what that would look like and how it didnt seem like it could be fulfilled in the world at its (then) present state.
When the metaverse religion starts to take hold, lookout, end times will be kicking off.
Revelation 13:15 is the part I could see relating to a metaverse world.
