I’m guessing they’re going to get a similar response to what DiBlasio got from New Yorkers when he encouraged them to snitch on neighbors who weren’t “getting in line” (aka following orders) for his first attempt at mandate enforcement. Let’s just say the little snitch program was quickly ended.

IRS may collapse and sink into the swamp. 35.0 million unprocessed returns filed by paper, an IT nightmare in employer reporting due to the Covid credits and tax season right around the corner with advanced child tax credits required to be reconciled. LOL!
26 USC 3121e regards employment taxes and it does not mention the 50 states.
26 USC 4612 regards petroleum excise taxes and it mentions the 50 states.
26 USC 7701 has the general definitions and it does not mention the 50 states in its definitions of state and United States.
IRS enforcement regulations are linked to alcohol, tobacco, and firearm excise taxes and not "income tax".
I don't think I'm going to file my taxes this year
